- 1945
- Korean Electronic & Communication Society (KECS) was founded.
韓国電子&通信ソサエティー（KECS）が設立された。
- 1963
- KECS changed its name to ‘Institute of Electronics Engineers of Korea (IEEK).’
KECSの名前が韓国の電子工学協会（IEEK）に変更。
- 1965
- Changed its English name to ‘Korea Institute of Electronics Engineers (KIEE)’ with Korean name unchanged.
英語名を‘Korea Institute of Electronics Engineers (KIEE)’に変更．
- 1969
- Granted the first IEEK Awards.
第1回目のIEEKアワードを授与
- 1983
- Signed a MOU of cooperation with the IEICE of Japan.
日本のIEICEと協力関係のMOUを締結した。
- 1987
- Changed its English name to ‘Korea Institute of Telematics and Electronics (KITE)’ with Korean name unchanged.
英語名を‘Korea Institute of Telematics and Electronics (KITE)’に変更．
- 1990
- Granted the first Haedong Awards.

- Granted the first IT Young Engineer Award jointly with IEEE

学会の英語の名を「The Institute of Electronics and Information Engineers (IEIE)」と変更、韓国語の名は変更無。

- Establishment of Haedong Japanese Engineering Material Room
海東 日本工学 資料室を設立した。

- The 1st International Conference on Consumer Electronics Aisa(ICCE-Asia) was held
