How to Become a Member (for Individuals)

Member Eligibility

• Regular / Lifetime Members: persons with B.Sc. or equivalent or higher degrees.
• Student Members: students majoring in engineering and/or science at universities.

Annual and Lifetime Membership Fee

* The annual fee covers each year from January 1 to December 31.

* Those who become members after July 1 are required to pay only 50% of the annual fee (in addition to the same amount for the admission fee).

Overseas Membership Discount Plan (OMDP) is provided for candidates who reside in countries/regions in Asia (except Japan, Taiwan, China, and Singapore), Africa, Central America, and South America (see below the list of countries applicable). This program is designed for IEIE to contribute to and support the progress of science and technology throughout the world. This plan is automatically applied to scientists and engineers in these countries/areas.
